Mediterranean Hummus Dip Platter

Ingredients

The base

  • 1.5 cups hummus
  • 1 cup tzatziki

The toppings

  • ½ cup baby tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup Persian cucumbers, chopped
  • ½ cup Kalamata olives, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, diced
  • 2 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh herbs (basil, mint, dill, etc.), chopped

For drizzling

  • to taste extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Chop all of the vegetables and set them aside.
  2. Spread the hummus in a smooth layer in the bottom of a 12-inch round platter or serving dish.
  3. Carefully spread the tzatziki over the hummus, leaving a ½-inch border around the sides.
  4. Sprinkle the feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, and red onion over the top.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the top and finish with a sprinkle of sea salt.
  6. Serve with crackers, fresh veggies, and/or whole wheat pita for dipping.
