Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place a large serving bowl inside.
- Bring 4 quarts of water and 1 tablespoon of salt to a boil.
- Cook the spaghetti until al dente, about 10 minutes, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- In the warm bowl, combine eggs, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper, beating with a fork.
- Add the drained pasta, bacon, and rendered fat to the bowl, tossing to combine.
- Add pasta water gradually until the sauce reaches a creamy consistency, then season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with additional cheese and parsley if desired.
