Slow Cooker Broccoli Cheese Soup

Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet and sauté onions until softened.
- Add garlic and flour, then cook while stirring for 2 minutes.
- Slowly whisk in evaporated milk until smooth and thickened.
- Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker with chicken broth, diced broccoli, and thyme.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
- Stir in heavy cream, cheddar, and parmesan cheese until blended.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
