Halloween Popcorn Balls

Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add popcorn, cover, and cook for about 4 minutes, shaking frequently until popping stops.
- Remove from heat and toss popcorn with salt.
- Melt butter over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until melted, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- If desired, stir in food coloring.
- Remove from heat and stir in popcorn, ensuring to remove unpopped kernels.
- Add candy to the mixture and stir.
- Allow to cool for a couple of minutes, then form into 10 balls.
- Roll the balls in sprinkles and transfer to the baking sheet. Optionally, press in straws or cake pop sticks.
- Let sit until firm, about 10 minutes.
