Easy Paleo Margaritas with a Champagne Floater

Ingredients

The Margaritas

  • 1 ½ ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½-2 ¼ ounces tequila
  • ¾ ounce triple sec
  • ¾ ounce honey
  • 2-3 cups ice
  • ¼ cup champagne

To Serve (All Optional)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 lime wedge to garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glass by pouring lime juice into one shallow dish and kosher salt into another.
  2. Invert the glass and dip the rim into the lime juice, then into the kosher salt.
  3. Turn the glass upright and add ice as desired.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine lime juice, triple sec, honey, and ice.
  5. Shake vigorously until well combined, then strain into the prepared glass.
  6. Top with champagne and garnish with a lime wedge if desired.
