Almond Apricot Biscotti

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, and nutmeg until creamy.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Chop the apricots and add them along with the sliced almonds to the dough, mixing well.
- Divide the dough into two logs, shape them, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Press some almonds into the top of the logs for decoration.
- Bake for 35 minutes until golden and cracked on top.
- Cool for 5 minutes, then slice the logs into ¾-inch wide pieces.
- Return the slices to the baking sheet, cut sides up, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Allow to cool completely before storing.
