Ingredients

  • ⅓ to ½ cup packed spinach leaves
  • ½ Tablespoon melted unrefined coconut oil
  • 1 unit green apple, core removed
  • 8 to 10 ounces fresh orange juice
  • 2–3 leaves mint leaves
  • ½ unit lemon, juiced
  • 1 handful ice or purified water, if needed
  • 3-4 units pitted dates, banana, maple syrup or honey (optional natural sweetener)

Instructions

  1. Steam spinach leaves and coconut oil in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and let cool.
  2. Blend the apple, orange juice, mint leaves, lemon juice, and cooled spinach with coconut oil until smooth.
  3. Adjust the consistency with more juice or water, or add ice to thicken.
  4. Sweeten to taste with optional natural sweeteners.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
