Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl and adjust the flavor as needed.
- Rinse, dry, and halve the Brussels sprouts, removing any large stem portions.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil.
- Add the Brussels sprouts to the skillet and season with coconut aminos, ensuring they are spread out evenly.
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes, then stir-fry uncovered for another 2 minutes.
- Once caramelized, add the optional shallot or green onion and the prepared sauce, stir-frying for 1-2 minutes more.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with crushed peanuts if desired.
