Super Cheesy Kale Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 cup cashew pieces
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • a few cranks pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees or prepare the dehydrator trays.
  2. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper and arrange the kale on top.
  3. In a food processor, blend the remaining ingredients until smooth.
  4. Use a silicone brush to coat the kale with the cashew mixture.
  5. Bake the kale for 15 minutes, then rotate the trays and bake for another 15 minutes.
  6. Turn off the oven and leave the kale chips inside for an additional 10 minutes to crisp up.
