All-Dressed Kale Chips

Ingredients

  • ½ bunch kale leaves
  • ½ tablespoon extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil
  • tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon fine grain sea salt or pink Himalayan sea salt
  • teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the leaves from the stems of the kale and tear them into large pieces, then wash and dry thoroughly.
  3. In a large bowl, massage the oil into the kale until fully coated.
  4. Sprinkle the spices and toss to combine.
  5. Spread the kale in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, then rotate the pan and bake for another 12-15 minutes until firm.
  7. Cool the kale on the sheet for 3 minutes before serving.
