Ingredients

  • 4 cups kale (firmly packed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
  • teaspoon sea salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Wash and trim the kale by removing the stems and ribs.
  3. Spread the kale leaves on a cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Toss the leaves to coat them evenly with oil, then arrange in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes, then turn the kale pieces over and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until they are brown and brittle.
  6. Remove from the oven and toss with sea salt before serving.
