Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients well.
- In another bowl, cream together the lard, ghee, and date paste until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Stir in the walnuts, dates, and raisins.
- Drop tablespoon-sized amounts of the dough onto a lined baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes and let cool before transferring to a rack.
