Ingredients

  • 1 part uncooked quinoa
  • 2 parts water
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the quinoa under running water for at least 30 seconds and drain well.
  2. Combine the rinsed quinoa and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to maintain a gentle simmer and cook until the quinoa has absorbed all the water, about 10 to 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, cover, and let steam for 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff the quinoa with a fork and season with salt to taste.
