The quinoa

  • 1 cup uncooked white quinoa

The water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the uncooked quinoa in a fine mesh sieve under cold water for 10-20 seconds.
  2. Combine the rinsed quinoa and water in a medium saucepan and stir.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, uncovered.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
  5. Let it simmer for around 15 minutes or until all the water has absorbed.
  6. Remove the lid, fluff the quinoa with a fork, and serve immediately.
