Instructions
- Rinse the quinoa in a fine mesh strainer if it is not pre-rinsed.
- In a saucepan, combine the quinoa and water (and broth if using) over medium-high heat.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a spoon, fork, or spatula and serve.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-5 days or freeze for up to 6 months.
