Instructions
- Prepare a 9X13-inch pan by greasing it or lining it with foil/parchment and greasing the lining.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter, corn syrup, granulated sugar, and brown sugar over low heat.
- Once melted, bring the mixture to a simmer and then remove from heat.
- Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until well combined.
- Gently mix in the crisp rice cereal until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture lightly into the prepared pan without compressing it too much.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in 1-minute increments at 50% power, stirring until smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate mixture evenly over the bars.
- Allow the chocolate to cool and set before cutting into bars.
