Easy Taco Rice

Instructions
- Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in cooking oil until soft.
- Add rice, chili powder, cumin, and oregano; stir and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add water and salt, stir briefly, then bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Turn off heat and let sit covered for 10 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and top with sliced green onions before serving.
