Instructions
- Rinse the pork under cold water and remove skin and visible fat.
- Add half of the minced garlic, bay leaf, chili, and orange juice to the slow cooker.
- Season the pork with salt, cumin, smoked paprika, and oregano, then place it in the slow cooker.
- Add the remaining crushed oregano leaves, cinnamon stick, and onions to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours until the pork shreds easily with a fork.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Place the shredded pork on a foil-lined baking sheet, moisten with reserved liquid, and broil on high for 10-15 minutes until edges are crispy.
- Serve warm as a filling for tacos, burritos, or in bowls.
