Easy Slow Cooker Carnitas

The Cilantro-Lime Sauce

mayonnaise

garlic

fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions
- Pat the pork dry and prepare the spice rub by mixing chili powder, cumin, oregano, cinnamon, chipotle powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture onto the pork and place it in the slow cooker with the onions and garlic on top.
- Pour lime and orange juice over the pork and cover the slow cooker.
- Set the slow cooker to LOW and cook for 8-9 hours until the pork shreds easily.
- Once cooked, shred the pork and moisten with cooking liquid as needed.
- For crispy carnitas, broil the shredded pork for a few minutes or sauté in a hot skillet.
- To make the cilantro-lime sauce, blend all sauce ingredients until combined.
- Serve the carnitas with desired toppings.
