Chocolate Mug Cake (Vegan)

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mug, mix the oil, milk, sugar, and cocoa powder for about 15 seconds.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder, sea salt, and vanilla extract, stirring for about 30 seconds to combine.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips, and optionally sprinkle some on top.
  4. Microwave for 65 seconds, checking that it's mostly cooked in the center.
  5. Let the mug cake cool for 3 to 5 minutes before enjoying.
