Sous Vide Salmon

Ingredients

  • 20 oz salmon, 4 5-oz. filets
  • 4 sprigs fresh dill
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 medium lemon, the juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sous vide water bath by filling a large pot with water and setting the temperature to 130ºF.
  2. Pat the salmon filets dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper, adding a sprig of dill on top of each.
  3. Place each salmon filet into individual bags or one large bag, squeezing lemon juice over them before sealing.
  4. Submerge the bags in the water bath and set the timer for 45 minutes.
  5. Once done, remove the bags from the water, take out the salmon, and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Broil the salmon in the oven for 1-3 minutes until golden brown, or sear in a skillet with olive oil.
  7. Season again with salt and pepper, serve, and enjoy.
