Instructions
- Blend rolled oats to make oat flour.
- Rehydrate the TVP by boiling water or vegetable broth and letting it rest with the TVP for 5 minutes.
- Prepare flax eggs by mixing ground flaxseed with water and letting it rest for 5 minutes.
- Combine all ingredients including the hydrated TVP, flax eggs, oat flour, and seasonings in a bowl and mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Heat a skillet with coconut oil over medium heat.
- Form the mixture into 8 patties about ¼ inch thick.
- Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
