Ingredients

The sausage mixture

  • 19 oz ground turkey
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • to taste freshly cracked pepper

For cooking

  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Mix ground turkey, sage, thyme, garlic powder, smoked paprika, maple syrup, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties using a ¼ cup measuring cup, flattening them to about 3 inches wide.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 3-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  4. Serve hot.
