Ingredients

The smoothie

  • 6 pieces ice cubes
  • 1 piece frozen banana
  • 2 pieces pitted medjool dates
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (about ¼ cup)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup almond milk

Optional thickening agents

  • ¼ tsp acacia fiber, chia seeds, or xanthan gum

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender in the order listed.
  2. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
  3. Pour into a large glass and sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
