Balsamic Strawberries with Greek Yogurt

Ingredients

The berries

  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons aged balsamic vinegar
  • fresh ground pepper

The yogurt

  • 15 ounces Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Garnish

  • a few mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the strawberries, then mix them with maple syrup and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl and let them sit for about 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt with honey to taste.
  3. Chiffonade some fresh mint for garnish.
  4. To serve, place a dollop of yogurt in a bowl, top with the macerated berries, and add mint.
