Instructions
- Let the chicken warm up for 20-30 minutes before cooking.
- Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
- Place the chicken in the crockpot in a single layer.
- Spread the sauce over the chicken and cover with the lid.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours until the chicken reaches 160°F.
- Remove the chicken to rest for 10 minutes, tented with foil.
- Shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the crockpot with melted butter.
- Stir to combine and adjust the flavor as needed before serving.
