Buffalo Chicken Braid

Ingredients

The filling

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 pound raw boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese
  • ¼ cup light blue cheese dressing

The crust

  • 1 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1 tablespoon light butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken breasts for 3 minutes on each side.
  3. Add Buffalo sauce, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Shred the chicken and mix it back into the sauce, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  5. Combine shredded chicken with cream cheese and blue cheese dressing until smooth.
  6. Roll out pizza dough to 10"x14" and make cuts along the sides.
  7. Spread the chicken mixture down the center of the dough.
  8. Fold the dough strips over the mixture in a braided pattern and brush with melted butter.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and slice into 12 pieces.
