Honey Lime Chicken Skewers

The marinade

The chicken

boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Place chicken in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it, then seal and rub the marinade into the chicken.
- Marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour and up to 6 hours.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 1 hour if using.
- Preheat the grill over medium heat.
- Thread chicken onto skewers, adding about 6 or 7 pieces to each.
- Brush the grill grates with oil and place the skewers on the grill.
- Grill for about 7 minutes per side or until the chicken reaches 165 degrees internally.
- Serve warm, garnished with cilantro if desired.
