Tequila Lime Chicken Kabobs

The marinade

The chicken

boneless, skinless chicken breasts

finely-chopped fresh cilantro leaves
The skewers

wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Mix garlic, lime juice, tequila, oil, black pepper, cumin, and salt in a bowl or ziplock bag.
- Add chicken pieces and toss to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 8 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
- Thread chicken onto skewers and season with extra salt and pepper.
- Grill skewers for 6-8 minutes, turning once, until chicken is cooked through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
