Instructions
- Cook diced bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside.
- Mix spices in a bowl and coat the shrimp with the mixture.
- Sauté the shrimp in butter until cooked, then add lemon juice, thyme, roasted red pepper, and bacon.
- In another pot, boil water and whisk in the grits, cooking until thick.
- Stir in smoked gouda, garlic powder, and salt until cheese is melted.
