Homemade Applesauce

Instructions
- Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and chopping them, then add them to a large pot.
- Pour in the water and apple cider vinegar, and cook over low heat, stirring often until the apples start to soften, about 4 minutes.
- Cover the pot and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Uncover, stir in the cinnamon and salt, cover again, and continue simmering for 10 to 20 more minutes until the apples are very tender.
- Remove from heat and mash the apples to your desired consistency using a potato masher or blend for a smoother texture.
