Homemade Applesauce

Instructions
- Peel, core, and chop the apples into 2-inch chunks.
- In a pot, combine the apple chunks, water, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Cover and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Simmer until the apples are tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mash for chunky applesauce or blend for smooth applesauce.
- Stir in the vinegar and adjust sweetness or spice to taste.
- Serve warm or chilled, and store leftovers in the fridge.
