Instructions
- Cut the apples into large chunks, leaving the skins on.
- Place the apple chunks in a pot and add a cup of water.
- Cover the pot and bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer until the apples are very tender, about 20 minutes.
- Pass the cooked apples through a food mill to puree.
- Store the applesauce in the fridge or use it immediately.
