Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, thighs, or legs
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
  • ½ lemon juice of
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a large bowl or zip-top plastic bag.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, lemon juice, coconut aminos, garlic, honey, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to 2-3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
