Ingredients

The chicken

  • 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, thighs, or legs

The marinade

  • 3 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in a large bowl or zip-top plastic bag.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, avocado oil, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken, cover the bowl or close the bag, and gently toss to coat the chicken evenly.
  4. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to 2-3 days before cooking, or freeze for up to 2 months.
