Vegan Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup grapeseed oil or palm shortening
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch celtic sea salt

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate and grapeseed oil in a small saucepan over very low heat.
  2. Stir in agave, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Place frosting in the freezer for 15 minutes to cool.
  4. Remove from the freezer and whip frosting with a hand blender until thick and fluffy.
  5. Frost over cake and serve.
