Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup unsalted vegan butter (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch sea salt
  • 2 ½ to 3 cups powdered sugar
  • cup vegan milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegan milk (extra, if needed)

Instructions

  1. Combine cocoa powder, vegan butter, 2 ½ cups of powdered sugar, vanilla extract, sea salt, and half the vegan milk in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix on slow speed, gradually increasing until thick and smooth.
  3. Add remaining powdered sugar gradually until desired thickness is reached.
  4. If necessary, add the extra vegan milk one tablespoon at a time for consistency.
