Ingredients

The filling

  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 ounces imitation crab meat
  • 2 scallions sliced green parts
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

The mushrooms

  • 1 pound baby portobello mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Stir in the crab meat, scallions, and mozzarella cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the filling evenly among the mushroom caps and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until the filling is hot and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with additional scallions before serving.
