Air Fryer Baked Apples with Oats

Ingredients

The apples

  • 3 whole Red or green apples

The filling

  • cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

For cooking

  • as needed spray nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Wash the apples, cut them in half, and core them.
  3. Place the apples skin side down in the air fryer basket and bake for 10 minutes at 350°F.
  4. While the apples bake, mix the oats, coconut oil, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  5. After 10 minutes, fill the apples with the oat mixture and cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. Let the apples cool for 5 minutes before serving.
