Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast in a large bowl.
- Add the lukewarm water and mix until a sticky dough ball forms.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm spot for 1 to 1½ hours until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and grease two 1-quart oven-safe bowls with butter.
- Deflate the dough and separate it into two equal pieces.
- Transfer each half into the prepared bowls and let them rise for 10 to 20 minutes.
- Bake the dough for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 375°F and bake for an additional 17 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before cutting.
