Instructions
- Mash the black beans in a large mixing bowl until mostly broken up, leaving some whole for texture.
- Add the Panko breadcrumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, cheese, eggs, and BBQ sauce to the mashed beans and stir until combined.
- Form the mixture into 6 tightly packed patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve the burgers on buns with desired toppings.
