Easy Black Bean Burger

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine black beans, onion, garlic, chipotles, adobo sauce, tamari, balsamic vinegar, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Mash the mixture until it holds together but still has some visible chunks of black beans.
- Fold in the egg and then the panko bread crumbs.
- Form the mixture into 6 patties.
- If the mixture is too wet, chill it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat and brush with oil, cooking the burgers for about 5 minutes per side until charred.
- Alternatively, grill the patties for 8 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the second side.
- Serve the burgers with buns and desired fixings.
