Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a bundt pan with butter and dust it with granulated sugar.
- Sift together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- In a stand mixer, combine granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and melted butter, mixing for 1 minute until pale yellow.
- Add the eggs, egg white, and vanilla extract, mixing for 1-2 minutes.
- Mix in half of the buttermilk, then half of the dry ingredients, folding gently.
- Repeat with the remaining buttermilk and dry ingredients.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and tap to release air bubbles.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10-15 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with berries.
