Ingredients

The mushrooms

  • 1 lb white mushrooms

The sauce

  • ½ stick unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • to taste ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel and cut off the bottom part of the stem.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and melt the butter.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté briefly.
  4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and stir until they are coated with the garlic butter.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, lemon juice, salt, and ground black pepper.
  6. Cook the mushrooms until they change color and shrink slightly.
  7. Add the chopped parsley and serve immediately.
