Ingredients

The mushrooms

  • 1 lb sliced white mushrooms

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons light butter
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley OR 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • ΒΌ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-6 minutes until softened and golden.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, then add the parsley, thyme, and garlic.
  4. Stir and cook for another 30-60 seconds until the garlic is fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and serve.
