The gravy

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil and non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, nutmeg, allspice, cardamom, salt, and pepper. Add milk and let it rest.
- Melt 1 Tbsp of butter in a skillet, sauté onions until golden, then add garlic.
- Mix beef, pork, egg yolks, and the sautéed onion mixture into the bread crumb mixture.
- Shape the mixture into 1 oz meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs until cooked through, about 18-22 minutes.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter to make a roux with flour, then slowly whisk in broth and cream.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, season, and let the gravy thicken.
- Toss the baked meatballs in the gravy and serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
