Instructions
- Rinse and dry the shishito peppers, then toss them in oil until evenly coated.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat until hot enough for a drop of water to sizzle.
- Add the peppers to the skillet and cook, stirring every minute, for about 8 to 12 minutes until tender and charred.
- Transfer the peppers to a serving plate, spritz with lemon if desired, and sprinkle with salt before serving.
