Ingredients

The peppers

  • 12 oz Shishito peppers

The seasoning

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Flaky sea salt
  • Lemon wedges optional for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil until shimmering.
  2. Add the shishito peppers to the skillet in a single layer and sear for about 2 minutes until blistered on one side.
  3. Flip the peppers using tongs and continue to sear for another 2-3 minutes until blistered on both sides.
  4. Remove from heat, sprinkle with flaky salt, and serve warm with lemon wedges.
