Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Mix the melted butter and brown sugar together.
- Whisk in the egg yolk and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the flour, salt, and baking soda until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the mixture between two 8-ounce ramekins and press gently to fill the bottoms.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, depending on desired doneness.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving, ideally with vanilla ice cream.
