Ingredients

The base

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • ¾ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 medium apple, diced small

The flavorings

  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional spices

  • to taste nutmeg, allspice, and ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except the apple in a mixing bowl and whisk until well combined.
  2. Stir in the diced apple and taste; adjust sweetener if needed.
  3. Portion into jars or containers, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
